When should I book?
Booking as far in advance is recommended especially if looking for multi day tours. Tours are available all year round however, shorter daylight hours, reduced opening times and weather conditions need to be taken into consideration through the winter months.

How can I book attractions for the tour?
Entrance to attractions are not included in the cost. However, you can book some attractions before the tour departs. Once booked we can advise you of any attractions which will need a reservation.
Historic Scotland offer a 2 week pass which we would recommend purchasing. They look after many historical sites in Scotland including Edinburgh and Stirling castles and they can save a lot of money during your stay in Scotland.
Is accommodation included in the tour price for multi-day tours?
No, accommodation is not included. Advice and recommendations can be given for accommodation options. Accommodation must be booked before the tour commences.
What should I wear?
We recommend you bring comfortable footwear for your tour and wear layers. The weather can be unpredictable at any time of year, so it’s best to be prepared.
Do I need to bring my own lunch?
Entirely up to you. We pass through many places where it is possible to buy something to eat on the go or visit local cafes or restaurants. You are welcome to eat and drink in the vehicle but please dispose of rubbish in the bins.
What currency should I bring with me?
Scotland uses the pound sterling.
Will most places accept card payment?
Most places will accept cards and contactless card payments but we do recommend carrying a small amount of cash just in case.
Where do our tours start and end?
We will pick you up and drop you off normally at your Edinburgh hotel or close to that area unless we are starting your tour the day you arrive. We are able to collect from Edinburgh airport and also Waverley train station. It may be possible to pick up from other places. This may result in a surcharge. It is also possible to be dropped off in a different location to pick up but this will need to be arranged before the tour commences and again may have a surcharge added.
What are your cancellation policies?
Cancellation Policy:
75% refund if cancelled within 30-21 days prior to tour. 50% refund if cancelled within 20- 14 days prior to tour. Non refundable if you cancel within 14 days of the tour beginning.
How much free time will I have?
This is the plus side of booking with us instead of some of the other tour groups. We are completely flexible. If you want to spend longer in certain places that is fine.
On multi-day tours in the evenings you have free time to enjoy however you wish.
